How we work
Three stages: Assessment, Build and Stewardship. Each is fixed in scope and price before it starts, and you can stop after any of them.
First, a private inquiry.
You send a short inquiry. Daniel replies himself within one business day. If it looks like a fit, we talk for about twenty minutes, at no charge. If that's useful, a private walkthrough of a working system follows, on test data.Note 1
1 Assessment
We learn how your practice takes on clients today. We walk through your intake with a test client (never a real one), talk with the people who run it, and map the software you already pay for. You receive a written report in plain English and a fixed-price recommendation you can take to anyone.
If your question is narrower, start smaller.
A review of why your email lands in junk. A review of what AI assistants tell people about your practice. Private AI sessions for a partner or owner.
Assessments are paid in advance. If one wasn't worth it, tell us within seven days of the readout and we refund it in full; you keep the report. The fee is credited toward any build you begin within 45 days of the readout. If we find something urgent, such as a security exposure, we tell you in writing within 24 hours.Note 2
2 Build
A statement of work sets the exact scope, dates, price and an acceptance checklist before we start. We configure what you already license first and write custom code only where it's needed. You get a short weekly check-in and a written update every Friday. The last part of the fee is due only when the acceptance checklist is met, and defects are fixed at no charge for 90 days after launch.Note 3
3 Stewardship
Once something is live, we keep it safe, current and improving: monitoring for outages and silent breakage, security updates, verified backups and restore drills, a monthly allowance of changes, a monthly report and a quarterly review. Systems we build that hold client information need Stewardship for at least their first six months after launch, because they need an accountable maintainer. After that, it's month to month.Note 4
What we ask of you.
One person who can make decisions. Approvals within three business days, so dates hold. Your professionals approve anything that carries their judgment. Your accounts stay in your name.
What we never do.
- Price our work on leads, clients signed, case outcomes or a share of fees.
- Guarantee rankings, AI answers or inbox placement.
- Write fake or filtered reviews.
- Contact prospective clients on your behalf, or send anything in your name without your approval.
- Build chatbots that give legal, tax, medical or investment advice.
- Resell software seats.
- Name a client without written consent.
Tell us what you want to take online or build.
Daniel Levine reads every inquiry himself and replies within one business day.Note 5
